πŸŽ™οΈ Season 5 Trailer: The Business of Creating πŸ“ˆ

What happens when you stop thinking about content creation as a series of individual projects and start considering what they could all add up to?

Welcome to Season 5 of My Tog Blog About Awesome Content Creation!

I'm your host, Tim Krywulak, and this season we're exploring how professionals, creators, and entrepreneurs can turn their knowledge, experiences, and creative interests into content, products, and new opportunities.

Drawing on my own experiences building a podcast, growing an online presence, and experimenting with eCommerce and product development, I'll share practical lessons, creative experiments, and conversations with other creators and business owners.

We'll explore how to build momentum, make more intentional decisions, and enjoy the creative process without constantly chasing the next platform, trend, or growth hack.

Because taking your creative work more seriously doesn't mean taking the fun out of it!

[00:00:00] Tim: What happens when you stop thinking about content creation as a series of individual projects, and instead start thinking about what it could all add up to? For me, that question has led to an interesting shift, treating my creative work more like a business. Not in a quit your day job kind of way, or because every creative hobby needs to become a business, but because I've started thinking more intentionally about what I'm building, who I'm trying to help, and why.

[00:00:22] Hey, everyone. My name's Tim Krywulak, and welcome to Season Five of My Tog Blog About Awesome Content Creation. Over the past few years, I've built a podcast and YouTube channel, grown my social media presence, and experimented with product development and running an online store. And one of the biggest lessons I've learned is that just producing more and more content isn't necessarily the same thing as making meaningful progress.

[00:00:44] Having a clear direction has helped me to make better decisions about where to spend my limited time as an entrepreneur, how the different pieces of my business fit together, and what I can leave alone. And that's what I wanna help you explore and better understand this season.

[00:00:58] How can professionals and creators turn their knowledge, experiences, and creative interests into content, products, and new opportunities? How can we build momentum and enjoy the creative process without chasing the next platform, trend, or growth hack?

[00:01:11] I'll be sharing my own experiences and experiments, along with insights from creators and business owners who are navigating these same challenges. As always, the goal is to go beyond generic advice and tell you about real stories, practical strategies, and things you can implement right away.

[00:01:26] So whether you're building a business, developing your professional brand, or simply looking to do more with your creative ideas, I hope you'll join me.
